I'm Tammie Treffers, a game artist studying at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) in the Netherlands.
I make game projects, illustrations, animations, and just about anything else that interests me!
I've grown fond of creating animations with impactful movement where I really try to bring out a character's essence. I also love the technical challenge of making shaders and particle effects. It's always fun to see my projects come to life with the addition of movement.
My artistic roots are in illustration and concept design, skills that I still make common use of. I'm always trying to be playful with my concepts to come up with creative out-of-the-box ideas.
But that's not all I can do! My tasks as game artist also involve 3D modeling, 3D texturing, optimization, and getting these assets to function properly in game engines.
Below you can see some examples. Some of these works were part of a group effort, and are marked as such.

Unity
Unreal Engine
I have done a number of game projects in Unity and Unreal Engine. These projects included tasks such as implementation of assets and version control using a git repository. I am also lightly familiar with scripting in these engines.
Github
Clickup
In a few of my game projects, I've collaborated with programmers, designers, and other artists within small groups. I made use of a git, and have also taken on minor roles regarding team planning.
For the visual concept development of my projects I've made production assets such as turnarounds and callout sheets. I always try to come up with creative ideas and concepts. I'm a big fan of art tasks that have an overlap with game design, such as for attack animations or concept art to explain design concepts.

I love making hand-drawn animations in Clip Studio Paint or Adobe Animate. I also have experience implementing these animations in game projects.
I also enjoy making 3D animations in Maya and graphics animation in After Effects.

Material Graph
I like to make real-time shaders and VFX in Unity using the Shader Graph and VFX graph, and in Unreal Engine using the Material Graph. I draw upon my artistic and technical abilities to shape my VFX.

I have intermediate experience in programming in C#, Javascript, and Javascript-based languages such as Processing and Arduino IDE.
This website is completely self-made, for example.
I also have experience scripting in Unity with C#, and in Unreal Engine with Blueprints.
Maya
ZBrush
Magicavoxel
I do my 3D modeling work in Maya, and sculpting work in Zbrush. This also includes tasks such as retopology, UV unwrapping and optimization.
My experience includes production of props, characters, and assets for VFX. I have also used Magicavoxel for a number of my projects.

3D Painter
Procreate
My 3D texturing work is done in Substance Painter or Procreate. This is either by use of smart materials or painting by hand, and can range from realistic to stylized.
I make use of stable diffusion for visual concepts. I also use ChatGPT for ideas and programming assistance.
Adobe After Effects
I use After Effects to edit simple videos to visualize gameplay concepts or show off my work
